Day 32...Broome

We arrived in Broome about 10.30am, went to the information centre to check on caravan parks.
There was a board outside listing the various parks, and how many vacancies they each had.
Several were full, the rest only had a few spots. We wrote down which ones were available and headed out. We managed to get the last spot at Broome Vacation Village,
so booked in for the next 4 days.
Broome's a lovely spot, bigger than most places we've been, with the exception of Darwin.
 It's clean and bright....nice township...Chinatown....movies!!!!
We went to the movies and saaw The Sapphires.
It's a great movie, we thoroughly recommend it...great story, great music, very Aussie.
After the movies we had Chinese for tea at the restaurant near the cinema...
the one where all the people were...the food was great!
Late in the afternoon, before the movies, we went out to have a look at Cable Beach...a very popular spot for tourists to watch the sunset over the ocean.
Cable beach is where all the rich people stay...lots of resort-style accommodation...people sitting on their fold-up chairs with their glasses of wine...groups from tour buses doing the same.
We find it just as interesting to watch the people as the sunset!
