Day 35....Broome

These pretty flowers were growing in the garden outside church this morning.
This afternoon Dave went fishing with a bloke from the caravan park.
They went out in his little tinny....thankfully the wind had dropped.
They had a great time...dave was very excited when they came back..
they'd had a very successful couple of hours.
You can see the size of the fish by the 2 litre bottle alongside.
We cooked one in foil in the Weber Baby Q when we got home from the movies.
Our last day in Broome today. Went to Church this morning at the Baptist Church...very friendly, not very big. The pastor spoke partly about ask and it shall be given to you...then described a trip out to sea in his boat yesterday with some relatives visiting ...they hoped to see a whale. The night before he prayed about it. When they put the boat out, he sensed he needed to head west...they saw a pod of dolphins playing, then turned SW and saw a splash. They turned off the motor, and this huge whale came over to the boat. They took a video of it, which went for quite some time, of it rolling around, poking its head out right beside the boat, swimming back and forth under the boat...it was unreal. He also spoke on Jeremiah 29:11...I have a plan for you...to prosper you, not to harm you.

When Dave got home from fishing, we went to the movies and saw Fishing in the Yemen. It was on at the open-air cinema...great atmosphere, great movie.
