Day 34...Broome

The markets were on in Broome his morning. They were pretty much like most markets.Mindil Beach Markets in Darwin take a bit of beating....mainly because of the variety of foods and the sunset location. I rather liked this fellow...looked like one of the pirates of the Carribean.

We went down to Cable Beach again this afternoon, mainly to see the camels. We've seen camel rides before, but not in these numbers! There were 3 tents on the beach, red, blue and yellow. Each one was the office for a camel ride business. Each one had about 12 camels, with seating for 2 on each one. They do rides at sunrise, then again in the afternoon, and finally the sunset ride. They go down the beach for about half an hour, then arrive back just on sunset. You wouldn't believe the number of 4WD vehicles down there as well.
