This morning Barry helped Dave to get the fridge going in Rosie using gas...also set us up with a bigger battery for unpowered camping times.
Dave and I headed into town for a look around. We went into a shop that sold crocodile skin handbags...the red one pictured was for sale for $5,500!!!
We went back to the art gallery and museum to see the things we missed yesterday.
Our last day in Darwin today...Tony gave us a demo of his remote control cars...can't believe how fast they go. It's all very professional...they have a meeting every 2 weeks...the website is ocrracing.com if you want to have a look.We went to Parap markets with Carol, then she drove us around and showed us various parts of Darwin...where they used to live, etc....then back to the vans and had final BBQ with Carol, Barry, Tony and Rhonda.
The tangled steel sculpture is outside the high school....it was twisted like that from cyclone Tracy back in the 70s.
